Year 3 and 4 Rugby ClubWe believe that offering children opportunities to learn new skills, have fun and succeed helps them to become more confident.
Encouraging children to try new things, to join clubs and play in teams will lead them to seek variety as they get older, even into adulthood.
Our extensive range of sports, day and residential trips and extra-curricular activities - from badminton and ballet to Warhammer, Lego Robotics and speech and drama - widens our broad curriculum even further.
We have a busy programme of sport within the curriculum, from the earliest gym lessons in Nursery to the chance to represent the School in the Juniors in sports including Rugby, Cricket and Netball.
Dame Bradbury's is very proud of its many trips - more than 50 a year - which bring variety and interest to learning, as well as helping children to develop socially and emotionally.
Our activities consist of free and paid clubs, which take place before school (choir, short tennis and orchestra), at lunchtime and after school - most are held after school. The clubs also offer more opportunities for sport.
Children can choose their clubs for the Autumn and Spring Terms and then again for the Summer Term, when there is a slightly different selection of clubs on offer.
