Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6)

As each child progresses through Dame Bradbury's the curriculum becomes more specialised.

During Key Stage 2, greater use is made of specialist teachers in many subjects including French, Music, History, Maths, English, Information Technology and Geography.

In Years 5 and 6, in particular, pupils travel between site buildings to our various facilities, such as the Music Room, Science Room and IT suite, for different lessons. They must remember the right books and other equipment needed for each lesson, which is excellent preparation for the move to senior school.

The individual needs of each child are met by setting work tailored to meet differing levels of ability. In this way, each pupil is challenged and supported, ensuring that they achieve their full academic potential and helping them to gain entry to the best senior school for them.
