Netball

The skills for Netball are taught right through the School, beginning in Nursery and Reception with throwing and catching games. We have two outdoor courts and a full indoor court.

Specific netball lessons begin for the girls from Year 3, introducing them to the principles of playing a team game with throwing and catching skills. From Year 3, the girls progress from group games to playing in full teams.

There are two Netball Clubs, from Years 3 to 6, which allow the children to develop their skills further.

Our netball teams, from Years 3 to 6, take part in local school fixtures and tournaments, with regular success. It is a good experience for the children to enjoy the involvement of being a team member especially when they are representing the School.
