Clubs

“The wide range of activities available adds to pupils’ broad experience and is felt by the pupils to make an enjoyable and important contribution to their school life.” Independent Schools Inspectorate

We believe that activities outside lessons are vital to a complete education, offering a chance to learn new skills and develop new enthusiasms.

Joining clubs helps children’s confidence and social skills increase: children make new friends across the year groups.

Art (sewing) - teacher helping boyChildren from Year 1 upwards are offered an increasingly wide range of clubs each term; many are repeated each year, such as the main sports clubs, the art clubs, Speech and Drama and Dance, while new clubs are also introduced to ensure plenty of variety.

Recent new clubs include Lego, Warhammer, Robotics and Photography.

The majority of our clubs are free and are run by our teaching staff, but a small charge is levied for some of those which are run by specialist teachers and coaches.

“My favourite club is Warhammer because it’s fun and a chance to try something different, and you make new friends in the process.” Oliver.
